Vintage Collectibles

Hard-to-find vintage collectibles and curios.

The oddities and treasures that don't fit a neat category — advertising, folk art, tools, kitchenware, and one-off finds.

The odds and ends that don't fit a category — advertising, kitchenware, folk art, tools and one-off curios. This is where the genuinely hard-to-find things surface.

What to look for in vintage collectibles

Maker marks
Stamped names, patent numbers and union labels date a piece more reliably than style alone.
Original finish
Refinished and repainted surfaces reduce value on most vintage objects.
Completeness
Lids, cords, keys and inserts are the parts that go missing and the parts buyers need.
Working condition
Anything electrical or mechanical is sold as-is unless we state that we tested it.

How we list vintage collectibles

Curios are described exactly as found — we would rather list a flaw than surprise you with it.

If you are hunting for something specific, set up an item alert and we will email you after our next catalogue check finds a match.

Common questions

Do you test vintage electricals?

Only when it is safe to do so, and we say when we have. Otherwise items are sold as decorative or as-is.

Can you find a specific item for me?

Yes. Tell us what you are looking for or create an item alert, and we will watch for it in incoming lots.

Are reproductions ever listed?

If we suspect a piece is a reproduction, the listing says so. We never describe an unverified item as period.
